Hollister Clothing Co. opened its first store in July 2000 at the Easton Center in Columbus, Ohio.

The concept was formulated around a fictional background, namely,
Hollister was founded by J.M. Hollister in 1922 as a pacific merchant shop in SoCal.

The Hollister brand now produce a range of casual clothing around their gull logo, including Hollister hoodies, t-shirts, tops, polo shirts, sweaters, bottoms, jackets, coats and shorts.
