Sixty srl was established and it created the first Energie line, i.e. 7 innovative and irreverent garments: jeans with Peruvian fabric inserts, oversize street-style printed T-shirts that were very successful on the market.

A new line, Sixty, was added to Energie.

The marketing and sale network soon and successfully covered the whole Italian territory.   The first Miss Sixty collection was created: this Energie woman’s line has been constantly growing and has become one of the most successful group brands.

The company finally and officially confirmed its presence on the new markets by opening its branch offices abroad, first and foremost Sixty USA; 16 new branch offices were also opened in Europe and throughout the world.

The Murphy&Nye brand was acquired.

The success on the American, Asian and Middle-East markets becomes consolidated and Sixty was turned into a joint stock company.

The Murphy&Nye woman’s line was created.

Killah, the second woman’s line, was developed: the creation of this brand, mainly intended for resourceful young girls, coincided with a significant turnover growth: 117 million Euro.

The first Sixty single-brand store was opened, i.e. the Miss Sixty store in Covent Garden, London. It was just the first of a long series.

The Group presently has more than 200 single-brand stores throughout the world.   2000 The beginning of the new millennium was marked by the creation of new brands such as Ayor, Dake9 and Decauville.   The Murphy&Nye footwear line was also created.

The Miss Sixty Eyewear line was created, i.e. sun glasses and, more recently, also sight glasses. The Miss Sixty, Energie and Killah footwear lines were launched and the Murphy&Nye child’s collection was first developed, too.

The Refrigiwear brand, jointly managed with Cruzcampo, was added to the Sixty Group brand portfolio.

The Double–e and JJ Mahoney’s brands were created. The Decauville and Refrigiwear child’s lines were added to the product range.

The new market expansion plan is under way, new shops have been opened; this trend will continue throughout 2004 and special attention is paid to service, distribution and to the flagship stores, i.e.: Tokyo, Milan, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Shanghai, just to name a few.

Sixty Group has signed an official licensing agreement with leading international Company Coty Inc., in order to create and distribute worldwide a Miss Sixty perfume. Miss Sixty and Energie Junior lines are going to appear on the scene presenting the first F/W 0506 collection.

While new Miss Sixty and Junior collections are presented for the first time, Miss Sixty's new fragrance is launched in collaboration with Coty Inc. Other two agreements have been signed: one with Coccinelle for the production of a new Miss Sixty collection of new bags and small leather goods, and the second with Morellato for a new Miss Sixty Jewellery line embodying the brand's mood and identity. Miss Sixty's partnership and new campaign with actress Asia Argento was launched. For men, Energie meets Principe: as a result of this partnership a new line of accessories has been created. Waxy, Richlu and K-blost enhances Sixty Group's brand portfolio to 14 brands.
